Beginner Driving Lessons Tooting, London

Congratulations you want to start to learn to drive and because you have never done this before you need beginner driving lessons.

The First Lesson, you are probably wondering what is going to happen and you also may have a few questions. What we will do is take you to a quiet area and if we are collecting you from home, it is likely we will start elsewhere because with your parents standing on the doorstep waiting for you to start or the neighbours peeking through their windows…well you are better off with out it.

Getting Going

What you will learn on your first lesson is what we want you to do on every lesson without us reminding you. So you are going to adjust the seat so you can reach all the controls, and the mirrors so you can see properly.

Once you are ready you will turn the key, start the engine, and you will be driving. At first you will be a little wobbly on the steering and unsure on the gears but in no time you will feel quite comfortable.

After Each Lesson

The trick to needing fewer lessons to pass your driving test is to remember what you have learned, makes sense really. So at the end of the lesson you will be given a progress report, detailing not only what you have achieved but you will also see what else you need to learn in the future.

It is a good tool to keep you on the right learning curve, and it will also help you prepare for your next lesson.

Theory Test

Before you can take your driving test you need to pass your theory and it is best for you if you can pass your theory quickly. From this website you can start to practice your theory test right now, and it is important that you do.

Those who pass their theory within the first few weeks of driving often get their practical driving test needing fewer lessons because you can apply what you learn.

Your Practical Test

For the best chance of passing first time make sure you have completed your progress report card, are taking regular lessons up to your test and you have at least one mock test to prepare you for the big day.

Part Trained Driving Lessons, Wandsworth, London

Now is the time to complete your training and get your driving licence.

Beginner Lessons Not Required, if you can drive in the first and second gears and feel ok then it is unlikely you are going to need beginner lessons. In fact you could be more skilled than this and perhaps been into 4th, 5th and reverse.

If this is you then our part trained driving lessons will help you save time and money.

Before Your First Lesson

It would be good for us to know a little about your driving experience, helping us with this information is going to help you. All you have to do is explain a little about what you have done, when you last drove and things like that.

The idea is, the more we know the quicker you are going to learn new skills on your first lesson.

In The Car

On your first lesson our aim is to help you build a plan of action to pass your driving test. This is your chance to show your instructor what you can do. It doesn’t matter if you make errors, that is why you are here, and it is not a test.

At the end of the lesson we will give you a report showing you how good you are and what you need to do to pass your driving test.

Booking Your Test

Assuming you have passed your theory there is no reason why we cant book your driving test now. After your lesson the instructor may say you will need around another 20-25 hours (as an example) and if the next available driving test is 8 weeks away, thats only 3 hours a week.

Preparing You

We want you to be fully prepared for your driving test and that means your progress card is completed, and you are driving without the instructor needing to get involved. When you are at this standard your confidence and preparation is at its highest and you are in the best form to get your driving licence.
